BYE BYE, BLACKBIRD
Here are a couple of chord studies for this great song by Ray Henderson. Those are "comping" studies, meaning that they are meant to be played as accompaniment.
The written rhythm is kept simple: you provide the variations.
The first study only uses 3-note voicings, aka "shell-voicings". If you are not already familiar with those basic chords, you absolutely need to
learn them, as they will be the foundation for fuller voicings.
There are 2 separate choruses. The first one (Ex.1) stays rather simple. The second one (Ex.2) starts lower on the fretboard and has a little more movement.
Both choruses use inversions of the shell-voicings.

Once you are comfortable with the 3-note voicings above, you are ready to tackle the next study (BYE BYE BLACKBIRD #1) which now uses full-voicings:
